30th festival enthusiasm experienced under the theme of textile and culture in Kızılcabölük neighborhood of Denizli

The 30th edition of the festival organized in Kızılcabölük neighborhood, attached to Tavas district of Denizli, started with great enthusiasm and participation. The roots of this event, which highlights the textile sector, were planted by the mayor of the period, Osman Erkli, when the settlement had municipal status, and it has played an important role in promoting the region. After the region gained metropolitan status in 2014 and was converted into a neighborhood, the responsibility for organizing the festival passed to the coordination of Tavas Municipality and Denizli Metropolitan Municipality, and thanks to this cooperation, it has become traditional.

The opening ceremony of this year's festival began with a colorful cortege walk accompanied by a band. At the opening, CHP Denizli Deputy Şeref Arpacı, dismissed CHP District Chairman Ali Osman Horzum, former mayor Osman Erkli who planted the first seeds of the festival, as well as many guests from the Denizli and Tavas protocol were present. The ceremony, held with the intense participation of protocol members and the public, once again revealed the vibrancy of Kızılcabölük's cultural life.

Speaking at the opening of the event, Tavas Mayor Kadir Tatık stated that the festival is more than just entertainment; it is a mirror reflecting the deep values of the region. In his speech, Tatık emphasized the vital role the festival plays in transferring the heritage of culture, art, and textiles to the future, offered his thanks to everyone who contributed, and wished the event to be beneficial for the district. This speech reinforced the sense of enthusiasm and solidarity among the festival participants.

Following the official ceremonies and marches held during the day, the program continued with music-filled events in the evening hours. In the finale of the opening night, Meltem Leylekoğlu, one of Turkey's established voices, took the stage and gave the audience unforgettable moments with her beloved songs. The concert took place in a nostalgic and cheerful atmosphere as the public filled the festival area and accompanied the artist.

The organization will continue on its calendar with artistic events to be held in the coming days. According to the planned program, on the second day of the festival, famous singer Ayşe Dinçer will meet with her fans, and in the finale of the event, Öykü Gürman will take the stage. The performances of these names will crown Kızılcabölük's 30th-anniversary celebrations, ensuring that it serves as a social and cultural meeting point for the local people and guests visiting the region.
