In Brazil's complex political landscape, former Minister of Ports and Airports Silvio Costa Filho has announced that he will continue to support President Lula's re-election project, despite the division within his party, Republicanos. Costa Filho, a federal deputy, guaranteed that his party's Pernambuco state leadership will provide full support to Lula. Costa Filho emphasized that they will maintain their stance in the state regardless of the party's national decision. Costa Filho, who also serves as the president of the Pernambuco branch, stated that he has demonstrated a clear regional stance. A member of Republicanos and considered one of the architects of Flávio Bolsonaro's economic program, Marques's name is even being mentioned for the vice presidential candidate (vice) role. In an interview, Daniella Marques, who stated that she joined the Bolsonarist project voluntarily, claimed that she is not bargaining for any position. This initiative aims to alleviate the weight of the individual support he has given to the campaign of former President Jair Bolsonaro's son. While all these national and inter-state maneuvers are taking place, Costa Filho's early declaration of support for Lula is considered a strategic move.
