Comprehensive public order operations were carried out by local authorities and security forces in the municipality of Bello, located in the Antioquia department of Kolombiya. Numerous suspects were detained as part of these operations, jointly conducted by the Mayor's Office and the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Coexistence. Additionally, firearms circulating on the streets were confiscated, ridding public safety of threats. Authorities state that such operations will continue with the aim of ensuring public order and reducing crime rates throughout the district. These comprehensive operations are welcomed with great satisfaction by the local community.

One of the most notable incidents of the operations occurred in the Mesa neighborhood. A quick call to the 123 emergency hotline enabled by the Ulusal Polis prevented an attempted burglary. Teams dispatched to the scene apprehended a 29-year-old suspect in the act while he was fleeing the area. A homemade firearm, believed to have been used by the suspect to threaten various individuals, was seized from his possession. This successful intervention once again highlighted the critical importance of timely reports in preventing crime.

Security forces' operations also yielded effective results in other neighborhoods, namely the Goretty and Trapiche areas. In the Goretty neighborhood, a 37-year-old male suspect was caught carrying an unlicensed six-round revolver. In the Trapiche neighborhood, a suspect who saw police units fled into a wooded area, dropping a handgun and a ten-round magazine along the way. Although the fleeing suspect could not be apprehended, the abandoned weapon indicates the presence of criminal elements in the area. The two captured suspects were referred to the Ulusal Savcılık on charges of illegal possession and carrying of firearms.

As part of public order measures, comprehensive work was carried out not only for weapon operations but also for the recovery of public spaces. Authorities conducted intensive cleaning activities in eight different areas, including Fontidueño, Barrio Nuevo, La Florida, and Niquía. During these efforts, obstacles occupying sidewalks were removed, unauthorized fences were dismantled, and landscaping was done. Furthermore, by engaging with local shopkeepers and citizens, efforts were made to foster awareness of orderly and clean public spaces. Such physical interventions help eliminate environments conducive to crime, as well as preserve urban aesthetics.

Another important pillar of the operations consisted of educational and awareness-raising activities aimed at preventing crime. As part of a social responsibility project called "Parchados por Bello" (Together for Bello), 14 educational institutions were visited. Thanks to these comprehensive educational programs, seminars on safe school environments and staying away from crime were provided to more than 2,000 students within the first six months. Authorities believe that the fight against crime is possible not only through police operations but also with an educated and aware young generation. The municipality of Bello pledged to resolutely maintain this multidimensional security strategy to ensure a lasting atmosphere of peace and security in every part of the district.
