Operation at Kuşadası Drivers' Cooperative: President and Managers Detained

As part of an investigation into the Şoför Esnaf Kefalet Kredi Kooperatif (Drivers' Artisan Credit Guarantee Cooperative) operating in Aydın's Kuşadası district, a detailed operation was conducted. Within the scope of the operation, detention decisions were issued for individuals in the cooperative's management echelon, and some of the suspects referred to the judiciary were detained. It was stated that financial movements and cash flow within the cooperative were examined in detail. The investigation was expanded and continued to protect the financial situation of the cooperative and the rights of its members.

As the investigation process deepened, it was announced that the cooperative president, Hüsnü Öten, along with two managers, were detained and placed in prison. The operation and the subsequent process were evaluated as an important step for the financial order and reliability of the cooperative. In statements made by the authorities, it was emphasized that the investigation was being carried out meticulously in line with the principles of transparency and justice. The detention of Öten and the managers brought the seriousness of the negativity and allegations in the cooperative management to light. While this situation caused concern among the cooperative members, it was noted that the legal process would be followed.

In light of the financial examinations conducted within the scope of the investigation and the evidence obtained, a quite high amount was determined regarding the use of cooperative resources. According to official data, the total amount of money movement revealed in the examination was determined to be exactly 11 million 482 thousand lira. This amount was considered among the possibilities that it could be directly related to irregularities or criminal situations in the activities and account movements of the cooperative. A detailed analysis was made regarding the flow of money, where it was taken and spent, and how this amount reflected or did not reflect in the cooperative safe. On the other hand, it was learned that one of the suspects mentioned in the operation was released due to insufficient evidence found against them or because detention conditions were not met.
