Forest fire in Milas largely brought under control

Efforts to extinguish the forest fire that broke out yesterday in the Milas district of Muğla continue on their second day. It has been reported that the fire, which started near the Bozbük and Gürçamlar neighborhoods, has been largely brought under control.

The General Directorate of Forestry teams announced that the crews working non-stop throughout the night continued their intense fight from the air and on the ground with the first light of morning. Interventions in the area are ongoing to fully bring the fire under control and complete the cooling efforts.
