Deputy Musa Küçük Announces Gümüşhane's Investments and Future Goals

Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Gümüşhane Deputy Musa Küçük came together with local press members in the city for an important meeting. On Friday, 03 Temmuz 2026, at a breakfast program held at the historical Zeki Kadirbeyoğlu Konağı in Süleymaniye Mahallesi, he made assessments regarding the agenda. This event was part of the regular meetings organized by the deputy to strengthen communication with citizens and press organizations. The program, which saw intense interest from participants, was characterized as a transparent information sharing platform regarding the city's current issues. The meeting provided a detailed consensus on both the work of local administrations and the deputy's activities in Ankara.

In his speech at the opening of the meeting, Musa Küçük shared comprehensive information regarding the current status of ongoing investments in Gümüşhane. He detailed the work done and planned in many areas, from the city's infrastructure to transportation, education to health. He stated that they are following the physical progress of public investments initiated recently and are conducting necessary follow-ups to accelerate the processes. Emphasizing that investments are of critical importance for Gümüşhane's development, Küçük expressed that they support every project regardless of political view to ensure resources are used efficiently. He added that taking steps to increase the region's economic potential is among their primary goals.

Answering questions from press members, Küçük made strategic statements on identifying issues in the city awaiting solutions and how to overcome them. He noted that Gümüşhane experiences some difficulties due to its geographical location and population structure, but these are not impossible to overcome if conditions allow. He stated that they are in talks with ministries to eliminate infrastructure deficiencies and improve the living standards of citizens in rural areas. He said they regard listening to citizens' demands and complaints as one of their primary duties and do their best to overcome bureaucratic obstacles in this regard. He emphasized that work continues to implement local solutions addressing the needs of neighborhoods.

Deputy Küçük also shared his vision by giving hints about the goals and projects they foresee for Gümüşhane in the upcoming period. He stated that focusing on the city's long-term plans is as important as short-term solutions, and therefore, steps towards the future must be taken while planning. He explained that they are working on new ideas to increase young people's access to employment opportunities and to raise the quality of social life in the city. Emphasizing the use of tourism's potential and preserving the historical fabric to integrate it into the economy, he said they want to make Gümüşhane a brand city. He expressed his belief that supporting main income sources such as agriculture and livestock with modern techniques would revitalize the sector.
