The Supreme Council of the Egyptian Administrative Prosecution Held Its First Meeting with Its New Members

The Supreme Council of the Egyptian Administrative Prosecution held its first official meeting with its new formation on 7 Temmuz 2026. The meeting was chaired by the Council President, Counselor Huda Ahmed İsa. Important counselors such as Khairy Muvaffak, Ahmed Abdurrahim, Bahieddin Muhammed Ali, Kamal Ali, Abdurradi El-Kashif and Manal Cuneydi joined the council as members for the new term. In addition, Counselor Dr. Muhammed Abu Deif, the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of the Administrative Prosecution, was also present at the meeting. This new formation is considered a critical step for the institution's future work.

Delivering the opening speech of the meeting, Council President Huda Ahmed İsa held a welcome ceremony addressing both the new and current members. Afterwards, the council thoroughly discussed various issues regarding the judicial and administrative operations within the institution. A general assessment of the operational system in the institution's different sectors was conducted during the meeting. Exploring various ways to increase efficiency and improve the process came to the agenda. It was emphasized that these steps aim to strengthen the administrative prosecution's duty in combating financial and administrative corruption.

The Council attached special importance to the protection of public goods and the swift administration of justice for the welfare of society. In this context, it was aimed to review internal procedures to achieve a more transparent structure. Members presented concrete proposals to expedite judicial processes and remedy citizens' grievances. Additionally, issues such as the vocational training of personnel and the strengthening of technological infrastructure were discussed at the meeting. It is believed that all these measures will increase the public's trust in the state.

Following the consultations, the Supreme Council of the Administrative Prosecution approved a series of important appointments and assignments. Accordingly, the term of Counselor Dr. Muhammed Abu Deif as Secretary-General of the Council was renewed. Similarly, the term of Counselor Muhammed Reşad Gad as Deputy Secretary-General of the Council was extended. The Council also reaffirmed the memberships of Ayman Fuad El-Şarkavi, Ahmed Yusuf Mosad, Ömer Hemmam Mahmud, Wael Muhammed El-Shehata, Muhammed Jamal Hashem, and Muhammed Said Bargash in the General Secretariat of the Council.

The reappointment of the General Secretariat members is of great importance in terms of preserving institutional experience and stability. The continuation of current members in their duties allows ongoing investigations and cases to be conducted without disruption. This restructuring aims to strengthen the institutional memory of the administrative judiciary organs in Mısır. Experts state that such high-level meetings contribute to consolidating the country's legal and administrative framework. The decisions in question are expected to have positive reflections on the operational capacity of the institution in the near future.
