Motor Enthusiasts Meet at Yeşilgöl in Çorum for the 7th Hittite Motorcycle Festival

The Hittite Motorcycle Festival, organized for the seventh time this year and regularly followed by motor sports enthusiasts, is starting in the Yeşilgöl region, connected to the Laçin district of Çorum. Spearheaded by the Çorum Auto Repairers' Chamber and relevant professional chambers, the organization is preparing to welcome motorcycle and car enthusiasts not only from the city but from all corners of Turkey. Yeşilgöl, which stands out with its natural beauty, will once again be the center of adrenaline and entertainment this year; the settlement of drivers in camping areas, ticket sales, and the official start of the program have been given as of today.

Within the scope of the three-day festival, various activities and competitions have been organized for the participants. On the first day of the program, drivers gathering in the city center of Çorum will move to the festival area with a city tour in the form of a convoy. In the festival area, throughout the day, there will be fun competitions such as the "Balance Competition," "Tug of War," and "Decibel Competition," as well as activities supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and demonstrations by the Redline team. Additionally, in the evening hours, it is planned that the enthusiasm will peak with a DJ performance and a grand raffle.

On the second day of the festival, participants will be served morning breakfast and hot soup from the early hours to start the day. Besides entertainment and competitions, the organization also serves a cultural function focusing on promoting the natural and historical beauties of Çorum. Visits to Obruk and Altıntoz regions for participants, boat trips to be made on the lake in the region, and nature sports activities such as paragliding will highlight the tourism potential of Çorum. Thus, the festival offers a holistic experience appealing not only to motorcycle enthusiasts but also to nature lovers and families.

Çorum Auto Repairers' Chamber President Necmettin Uzun made important statements regarding the safety and comfort of the event. Stating that all preparations regarding security, health, and camping services at the festival area have been completed flawlessly, Uzun warned drivers to use their helmets and protective equipment without exception for traffic safety. The President conveyed his thanks to local motorcycle clubs such as Free Team, Dark Riders, Reapers Of Anatolia, and Çorum Redline, who contributed to the successful realization of the organization, and also did not forget the sponsor firms who provided material and moral support.

Chamber President Necmettin Uzun thanked all stakeholders who contributed to the realization of the festival and expressed his gratitude especially to Laçin District Governor Murat Yeşilyurt and Laçin Mayor Mustafa Toydemir for hosting this organization and welcoming motor enthusiasts in Yeşilgöl. As a result of these preparations and invitations, a large number of motorcycle enthusiasts from both within the city and surrounding provinces are expected to have a fun-filled weekend at the festival area. The contribution of the festival to the local tradesmen and the promotion of Çorum leads to the organization being evaluated not only as a sports event but also as a social and economic gathering.
