Russian Prime Minister Mishustin Praised Tatarstan's Achievements in Tatar at the Innoprom Fair

Russian Prime Minister Mihail Mişustin praised Tatarstan's achievements in Tatar at the international "Innoprom" industrial forum held in Yekaterinburg. Noting that he toured the republic's stand and was impressed by the quality of the presented projects, Mişustin appreciated the work of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnihanov. During the visit, Mişustin greeted Minnihanov in Tatar by saying «İsänmesez!» along with his colleagues from CIS countries, and used the expression «Yaxşı eşlisüz!» (You are doing a good job) in response to the successful work. The Russian Prime Minister's command of the Tatar language stems from his wife's Tatar origins. This moment was considered an indication of both respect for the Tatar people and the republic's industrial strength.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnihanov presented the industrial potential of the republic in detail to Mişustin and the accompanying delegation. At the Tatarstan stand, it was shared that more than 40 institutions and 169 people were present. In his statement, Minnihanov used the expressions: "Everything is fine, more than 40 enterprises, 169 people; very useful, very well prepared, I also toured and examined a few stands, thank you very much." The delegation included high-level guests, including Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Paşinyan. Throughout the presentation, the industrial capacity and investment opportunities of the republic were highlighted.

Among the local technologies produced by Tatarstan, battery and gas compression systems stand out. Stating that strategically industrial products are manufactured, Minnihanov explained that they produce batteries upon the assignment of the Ministry of Industry and manufacture compressors, including those for liquefied natural gas (LNG). These statements reveal that Tatarstan makes significant investments not only in the oil sector but also in energy technologies and advanced manufacturing. These projects, which also attracted the interest of the visiting delegation, are part of the republic's economic diversification efforts. These steps will play a critical role in terms of industrial independence.

KAMAZ, one of Russia's leading truck manufacturers, also made a name for itself at this event. The company's general director Sergey Kogogin introduced the K5 model truck powered by compressed natural gas. Emphasizing the importance of KAMAZ's production facilities in Naberejnye Çelni, Minnihanov invited the Governor of Sverdlovsk Oblastı to purchase these trucks more actively. Additionally, it was reported that Tatarstan made an agreement with Yandex to encourage the use of domestic vehicles in its tech fleet. The inclusion of enterprises from the Yahudi Özerk Oblastı at the Tatarstan stand demonstrated the strength of inter-regional industrial cooperation. This diversity of the fair paved the way for companies from different geographies in the country to develop joint projects.

The Innoprom fair became a highly productive platform for Tatarstan and helped strengthen international industrial ties. The republic both established new business partnerships and found the opportunity to showcase its current technologies. While Mişustin's compliment in Tatar reinforced the value given to Tatarstan at the federal level, it also contributed to increasing regional investments. It is noted that participation in the fair further strengthened Tatarstan's industrial image in the international arena. Foundations for detailed discussions, written agreements, and new projects are laid at such fairs.
