Russia's combined attack on Izyum in Kharkiv causes casualties and fires

Russian troops launched a combined air attack on the town of Izyum in the Kharkiv region on the evening of 14 July. According to a statement from the Izyum City Military Administration, there are casualties and injuries in the attack. The attack caused severe damage to the town's civilian infrastructure.

The attack began at approximately 21:45 local time. Russia used guided aerial bombs (KAB) as well as Shahed-type kamikaze drones in the attack. Numerous search and rescue teams were dispatched to the area due to fires breaking out at the struck locations.

According to initial data, the attack damaged civilian objects, municipal properties, agricultural machinery, and private houses. Authorities state that search and rescue operations are ongoing at the scene and they are trying to clarify the number of missing and injured.
