Russia Launches Drone Attack on Kharkiv: Fires Break Out in Multiple Areas

Russian occupation forces extensively targeted Kharkiv, Ukraine's second-largest city, with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on the night of July 12. The attacks were carried out in different parts of the city, directly threatening the safety of civilian areas. These simultaneous drone attacks on the Shevchenko, Saltiv, and Kyiv regions caused great panic and evacuation processes in the area. According to the latest assessments made by the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration (RMA), at least two people were injured and hospitalized in the enemy attack. It was noted that among the injured was a 16-year-old girl, once again revealing the devastating impact of the attack on the civilian population. Authorities stated that the health conditions of the injured taken to hospitals are stable and that all necessary medical interventions have been performed. This tragic situation revealed concerns about increasing civilian casualties and how vulnerable the defenseless population is against drone attacks. The deterioration of the humanitarian situation brought the international community's attention to the region back to the agenda.
