Mutual Attacks in the Russia-Ukraine War: Casualties in Kiiv and Zaporijya, Fire at Refinery in Russia

Mutual attacks continue as part of the military conflict between Russia and Ukraine. As a result of attacks carried out by Russian forces with missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles, many people were injured in the Ukrainian capital Kiiv, as well as in the Zaporijya and Harkiv regions. In response, Ukraine's unmanned aerial vehicles caused a fire at an oil refinery in the Krasnodar region in southern Russia.

The missile attack on Kiiv in the early hours of the morning caused fires in some storage areas in the city. While many vehicles caught fire due to the wreckage of an unmanned aerial vehicle that fell in the eastern suburbs of the city, it was announced that large explosions were heard in various parts of the city. In the attacks targeting the residential areas of the city of Zaporijya in the southeast of the country, 11 people were injured, and in a town near Harkiv, 6 people were injured.

On the other hand, the wreckage of an unmanned aerial vehicle that fell on the Afipski oil refinery in Russia's Krasnodar region started a fire and caused some structures to burn. It was also reported that wreckage fell in the Salavat industrial zone in the Başkurtistan region. In the clashes the previous day, where 4 people died in and around Moskova and 6 people in Ukraine, it is noteworthy that both sides continue to target each other's cities and critical infrastructure.
