Six Flags broke six world records with its new ride 'Tormenta'

The Six Flags Over Texas theme park, located in the city of Arlington in the state of Texas, ABD, is opening its doors to a massive new attraction that will captivate adrenaline enthusiasts. This next-generation roller coaster, named 'Tormenta: Rampaging Run', announced its opening with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony. Giga coasters are defined as massive speed trains that drop from a height of 300 to 399 feet (approximately 91 to 121 meters) on an uninterrupted track system. These technical features allow the train to reach incredible speeds and provide its passengers with a unique passion for speed. These records significantly elevate the position of this amusement park among other theme parks worldwide.

The ride offers its passengers a unique view just before making a massive drop from a height of 309 feet (approximately 94 meters). At this peak point, the panoramic and expansive view of the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area unfolds beneath the visitors' feet for a few seconds. This impressive cityscape slightly alleviates the intense anxiety passengers experience before the climb to the top. Designers state that the structure was specially designed both to be a source of excitement that pushes physical boundaries and to showcase the aesthetic beauties of the region. Looking at the city from a height also adds an extraordinary visual experience to such extreme entertainment rides.

Ricardo Vareoa, an employee at Six Flags Over Texas, was one of the lucky ones who had the opportunity to test this massive machine before the opening. Experiencing the giga coaster exactly twice, Vareoa stated that the anxious wait felt while suspended at the peak point was particularly satisfying. According to him, this fear is a unique source of pleasure for true adrenaline junkies who want to savor the moment just before the big drop. Vareoa's experiences are considered an indication that this ride, eagerly anticipated by the public, will exceed expectations. Immediately after the official opening, the park's cabins are preparing to overflow with visitors flocking from both the region and around the world.

The park's president, Pete Carmichael, announced during the ceremony that Tormenta is located right in the center of the park's area known as 'İspanya', and that this area has been completely renovated. This area, which adopts a thematic design, not only offers visitors a ride experience but also visually invites them into a different atmosphere. As Carmichael emphasized, this massive investment is seen as a strategic step to increase the park's overall vision and visitor satisfaction. The theme park management states that they attach importance to such innovative and groundbreaking projects to keep the interest of both the local public and tourists from outside the city alive. This innovation, which was officially launched with a grand opening ceremony attended by Arlington Mayor Jim Ross and other council members, also added significant color to the social and cultural life of the region.
