Simultaneous operation launched for 968 suspects targeting FETÖ across Türkiye

As a result of the joint efforts conducted by the Ministries of Interior and Justice, it was announced that a large-scale operation targeting the FETÖ armed terrorist organization was launched in 81 provinces. It was stated that arrest warrants were issued for a total of 968 suspects within the scope of the operation.

The Minister of Interior and the Minister of Justice, who published a joint press message on their social media accounts, touched upon the importance of the operation being announced on the anniversary of the 15 July coup attempt. In the statement, the martyrs and veterans who lost their lives during the coup attempt were commemorated, and it was emphasized that the fight against the terrorist organization will continue without compromise.

While it was noted that the highest number of suspects were located in the provinces of Ankara, İzmir, and İstanbul, it was reported that investigations targeting the organization's current and covert structures continue in other provinces. Authorities stated that the state will resolutely continue its fight against terrorism in strong coordination with all its institutions.
