Member Aiyaş emphasized the protection of public resources after Minister Bakar's resignation

Member of the Jordanian House of Representatives Dr. Hayel Aiyaş issued a written official statement to inform the public following the resignation of the Minister of Labour, Halid el-Bakar. This statement, made to evaluate developments regarding the Minister's departure, drew attention as a reflection of the recent fluctuations in Jordanian politics. Deputy Aiyaş noted in his statement that it is of vital importance that all legal and administrative procedures be completed in accordance with the provisions of the Jordanian Constitution.

The fundamental basis of the statement consisted of respect for the rule of law and the establishment of principles such as transparency, accountability, and integrity in public administration. Aiyaş expressed that these fundamental values strengthen the bond of trust between the state and the citizen, while also increasing the reputation and solidity of the country's institutions. It was argued that due to the nature of interests, public service should be prioritized.

Furthermore, Aiyaş, displaying a decisive stance regarding the implementation of good governance standards, stated that these rules must apply to everyone without distinction. He explained that the equal application of justice and rules is the most important factor that enhances the state's dignity and the authority of the legislative and executive organs. In this context, he called for the resignation process to be conducted in a transparent and open manner.

Finally, Aiyaş concluded his statement with positive and hopeful messages regarding Jordan's future. He stated that Jordan, under the administration of the Hashemite leadership, is proceeding decisively on the path to becoming a state based on the rule of law with a strong institutional structure. Emphasizing that no special interest is superior to the general interests and national supreme interests of the country, he expressed that justice and integrity will continue to be the main pillars for serving the citizen in the coming period.
