Simultaneous Operation Launched for 968 Suspects Against FETÖ in 81 Provinces

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Justice launched a major simultaneous operation against the FETÖ armed terrorist organization in 81 provinces. Within the scope of the operation, arrest warrants were issued for a total of 968 suspects.

According to the joint statement from the ministries, the provinces with the highest number of suspects in the operation were Ankara, İzmir, and İstanbul. It was stated that efforts against the organization's current and covert structures are being meticulously continued in other provinces as well.

Minister of Internal Affairs Mustafa Çiftçi and Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek emphasized, in their posts on their social media accounts, that the struggle will continue with determination. In the statement, as the anniversary of the 15 July coup attempt approaches, the martyrs and veterans were commemorated with mercy and gratitude.
