Noise and security operation targeting motorcycles in Bolu Mudurnu

In Mudurnu district of Bolu, a comprehensive operation was carried out by security forces against noise pollution, which has increased in recent times, and behaviors that endanger traffic safety. Acting upon intense complaints from citizens, Mudurnu District Police Department intensified inspections targeting motorcycles, especially those with loud exhausts and failing to follow traffic rules. Simultaneous practices at strategic points of the district were implemented with a 'zero tolerance' principle against drivers disturbing the peace.

Motorcycles stopped by police teams at application points were subjected to a detailed inspection in terms of both technical aspects and driver documents. The focus of the inspections was the compliance of vehicles with regulations, drivers carrying licenses and registration, and compliance with vital security measures such as wearing helmets. During these checks, administrative fines were imposed on many drivers found to be violating rules and not using safety equipment under the relevant articles of the Highway Traffic Act.

The inspections were not limited to penal sanctions, but the documents of the stopped vehicles were also scrutinized meticulously. Two motorcycles found to have missing documents and unauthorized modifications contrary to traffic regulations were immediately banned from traffic and towed to the impound lot by police teams. While the vehicles were disconnected, stern warnings were issued to drivers to be more careful in traffic and to obey the rules.

In a statement regarding the issue, security officials emphasized their determination in the fight against such elements that disturb the peace of citizens and risk public security. It was stated that the aim of the shock inspections launched throughout Mudurnu district is not only to enforce laws but also to prevent traffic accidents and eliminate the discomfort of citizens caused by noise pollution. In this context, continuity was ensured for inspections targeting speed and noise violations that increase at night and cause disturbance.

Mudurnu Police Department sources announced that similar practices would continue uninterrupted and planned in the coming days and invited drivers to respect traffic rules and the rights of other citizens. It was noted that efforts to detect and penalize violators are of great importance for the district residents to live in a safer and more peaceful environment. Motorcycle users were asked to comply with compulsory traffic rules and equipment for their own safety and the peace of their surroundings.
