90-year-old woman found dead at home in Burdur

In a sad incident in central Burdur, a 90-year-old woman lost her life. The incident occurred at a house located on Turgut Reis Sokak in Emek Mahallesi. The elderly woman, named Anakadın Çapkın, was found lying motionless inside the house by her husband M.Y., who returned home. Upon seeing the situation, her spouse immediately called the 112 Acil Çağrı Merkezi to notify health teams. Upon this report, the necessary teams were dispatched to the region.

Health teams, who reached the scene in a short time, determined in their initial check that the elderly woman had lost her life. Despite the intervention of health personnel, it was not possible for Anakadın Çapkın to return to life. Police teams were also called to the scene to determine whether the incident pointed to a suspicious situation. The police started a detailed investigation in and around the house. Following the checks, the woman's body was taken to the morgue for autopsy procedures.

Thanks to her husband noticing the situation and requesting emergency help, the teams arrived at the scene as soon as possible. However, it was confirmed that the elderly woman lost her life despite all interventions made in the process. After the incident was heard, neighborhood residents and those around were greatly shocked by the situation. While the investigations of the police teams continue, the funeral procedures were handed over to the relevant units.
