Forensic preliminary report on Ece İrtem's death: Heart attack and monkey attack possibilities

A critical phase has been reached in the process regarding the death of 35-year-old actor Ece İrtem, known for her character Işıl in the TV series Kızılcık Şerbeti and who passed away on 15 June. According to the preliminary report prepared by the Council of Forensic Medicine and expected to be shared with the public, it is stated in the initial assessment of the young actor that she lost her life due to a sudden heart attack. However, officials and medical experts emphasize that this finding is only a preliminary assessment and the exact cause of death will be determined after detailed examinations.

Within the scope of the investigation carried out to shed light on the incident, İrtem's trip to Thailand, which she made a short time ago, has also been taken under the microscope. In the petition submitted to the investigation file by the actor's lawyer Uğur Gökkoyun, focus is placed on the possibility that İrtem may have been attacked by a monkey during this vacation and that this may have led to her death. The accuracy of this claim, and whether there is a causal link between the attack and the death, is being investigated and examined in detail.

In the examinations conducted by the judicial authorities and the prosecutor's office, the possibility of blood poisoning, i.e., sepsis, which is frequently brought up in the media and public opinion, has also not been ruled out. Forensic medicine experts subjected the scars detected on the actor's arms during the initial examination of the body to a detailed examination to determine whether they were a source of infection that could lead to sepsis.
