Law to Strengthen South Korea's Cosmetics Industry

The record-level global demand for cosmetics and skincare products in South Korea has led to the passage of a new law to systematically support the country's beauty sector. This law is the first legal framework created to support the commercial development of the cosmetics industry. South Korea's cosmetics exports reached a record high of $11.4 billion in 2025, making the country one of the world's top two beauty exporters, along with France.
