Haluk Levent investigation expands: MASAK report and digital evidence are being examined

As part of the investigation conducted by the İstanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, examinations regarding financial transactions and digital records continue against Ahbap Derneği Chairman Haluk Levent. While the MASAK report reflected in the file and the reports prepared by various institutions are being evaluated by the prosecutor's office, it is stated that the scope of the investigation has expanded.

In the investigation, an expert examination is planned to be conducted on Haluk Levent's mobile phones and certain digital materials. Additionally, the authenticity and legal nature of the messages allegedly exchanged between Levent and a person from his close working team will become clear after the digital examinations are completed. Information has also emerged in the public that judicial proceedings have been initiated against the aforementioned Lawyer Ece Güner.

In a statement made on social media, Haluk Levent argued that his personal financial relations and the association's activities should be evaluated separately. Stating that he will respond to the allegations comprehensively in the coming days, Levent's post became a trending topic on social media. Legal experts, however, remind that the allegations in the file do not yet constitute a judicial decision and that the investigation is in the preparatory phase.
