Digital Transformation in Agriculture in Kars: B-Prescription System Information Meeting Held

An important information meeting was held in Kars within the scope of the B-Prescription System, which the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry will implement nationwide starting from 1 Temmuz 2026. At the meeting, the implementation processes of the system, which will ensure that plant protection products used in the agricultural sector are used more effectively, controlled, and digitally traceable, were discussed in full detail. Authorities emphasized that this innovative system will enable both farmers and industry representatives to use agricultural pesticides consciously. This step, which aims to increase the quality of agricultural production in the region, also plays a critical role in preventing unnecessary chemical use. Participants had the opportunity to make a comprehensive evaluation of the concrete impacts that the system will reflect on the field and its potential challenges.

Many leading figures and officials from the sector attended this important event hosted by the Kars Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry. In addition to the Deputy General Manager of Food and Control Doç. Dr. Yunus Bayram, Kars Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Enver Aydın, and Ardahan Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Harun Akıllı, numerous deputy provincial directors, branch managers, and district managers were present at the meeting.
