12 suspects detained, 3 arrested in Manisa-centered bribery operation

Within the scope of the organized crime and bribery investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, simultaneous operations were carried out in 5 provinces centered in Manisa. In line with the effective remorse statements of Uşak Mayor Özkan Yalım, who was suspended during the investigation, and MASAK reports, Şehzadeler A.Ş. General Manager Cem Yüzer and the driver of a mayor's advisor, Anıl Demir, were detained.

With the expansion of the operation, a total of 12 suspects, including the CHP Group Deputy Chairman of the Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Council, were detained. During the searches of the suspects' homes, various digital materials and documents were seized. It was reported that efforts to capture two suspects for whom detention orders were issued are ongoing.

Demirhan Gözaçan, Cem Yüzer, and Anıl Demir, who were arrested by the duty court they were brought before, were sent to prison. It was learned that Gözaçan received 1 million TL in Denizli according to Özkan Yalım's statement, and he was also arrested in connection with this file.
