3 hours after her son's funeral in Nusaybin, the mother also passed away

İsmail Dursun, living in the Nusaybin district of Mardin, passed away in the hospital where he was admitted after falling ill. It was learned that after the initial intervention at Nusaybin Devlet Hastanesi, İsmail Dursun was transferred to Diyarbakır. It was reported that the young man, who was taken for treatment due to suspicion of blood cancer here, suffered a brain hemorrhage and could not be saved despite all medical interventions.

The family's sorrow did not end there. When İsmail Dursun's body was brought to his father's house for burial procedures, his bedridden mother Behiye Dursun, who suffered from illnesses related to old age, fell ill. Health teams were notified for the mother, whose condition deteriorated approximately 3 hours after her son was buried in Hacılar Mezarlığı.

During a check-up conducted by the health teams arriving at the scene, it was determined that Behiye Dursun had also passed away. While the bodies of the mother and son were buried side by side, these consecutive deaths caused deep sorrow in the region.
