Following the devastating earthquakes that struck Venezuela on 24 Haziran, humanitarian aid efforts to the region have accelerated. The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) received another significant aid from its Logistics Center to support affected families in the country. The said 18,1 tons of relief supplies were brought from Panama to Simón Bolívar Uluslararası Havalimanı in La Guaira state by road and air. At the delivery ceremony held at the airport, Venezuelan government officials and representatives of international organizations gathered. This shipment constitutes just one of a series of aid sent to revitalize living standards in the areas damaged by the earthquake.

The contents of the cargo sent from Panama include materials that will directly meet the shelter and living needs of the disaster-affected families. A total of 728 kitchen sets, ten thousand eighty solar-powered lamps, and 32 refugee shelters are among the primary equipment sent. These materials were specially selected to produce temporary solutions in areas where electricity and infrastructure services are disrupted. Solar-powered lamps are of great importance, especially for ensuring security at night and meeting basic needs. Shelter units and kitchen sets play a critical role for families to sustain their own lives and return to a normal routine to some extent.

The Venezuelan government, with the support of the international community, has developed a comprehensive plan to distribute these humanitarian aids to the regions. The equipment is planned to be dispatched to temporary camps established in the Capital Region, as well as in La Guaira, Miranda, and Falcón states. These regions are among the places that suffer the most due to the structural damage caused by the 24 Haziran earthquakes. Authorities stated that logistical coordination is meticulously carried out to ensure that the materials.ShortCode are delivered to those in need in a short time. Thanks to the strengthening of the infrastructure of the temporary camps, it is aimed to make the disaster victims more resilient against the winter months or possible new aftershocks.

Shortly before the arrival of the aid sent by UNHCR, another significant humanitarian shipment had taken place in the country. In the early hours of the day, the Venezuela Kızılayı received approximately 40 tons of relief materials to be distributed to the earthquake victims. This situation reveals that the magnitude of the tremor has been realized at both national and international levels, and emergency response processes have been quickly activated. The receipt of dozens of tons of relief materials by two different large organizations on the same day also demonstrates how deep the crisis in the region is. The correct and fair distribution of these aids in the field has been determined as the top priority of the institutions.

The delivery process at the airport was meticulously conducted with the participation of high-level officials of the Venezuelan state and diplomatic representatives. Along with officials from the UNHCR Venezuela office, Major General Manuel Castillo Rengifo, appointed as the Belarus Ambassador, also attended the program. Furthermore, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Director of African Affairs Marlon Peña was present at the reception and ensured the registration of the technical materials. This high-level participation demonstrates the Venezuelan government's sensitivity regarding disaster management and international cooperation. Officials emphasized that such international assistance is a concrete manifestation of the solidarity displayed by countries during times of crisis.
