Indonesian President Prabowo lays foundation for historic Masela LNG energy investment

Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the Masela LNG National Strategic Project on 16 July 2026.

The ceremony was held in the Tanimbar Islands Regency, Maluku Province, and heralded the official start of the construction phase of the colossal energy project.
