4 injured as car crashes into barriers in Afyonkarahisar

A traffic accident occurred at the exit of Sinanpaşa district in Afyonkarahisar, Turkey, when a car went out of control, entered the median strip, and crashed into barriers. (44), went out of control after the driver lost control of the steering wheel. The skidding vehicle entered the median strip and stopped after hitting the barriers. The vehicle sustained material damage due to the impact.

In the accident, passengers D.A. (22), Y.K. (18), K.A. (43), and 4-year-old M.N.A. were injured. Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The injured were taken to the hospital by ambulances for treatment. It was learned that one of the injured is in serious condition.

Following the accident, the gendarmerie launched an investigation. Teams are investigating the cause of the accident. It was reported that the driver's statement was taken and the investigation is ongoing. Traffic flow in the area was controlled for a while.
