Alexis Tsipras presented a comprehensive alignment plan with Europe

Alexis Tsipras, speaking within the framework of the Thessaloniki International Fair (ΔΕΘ), announced that he had presented a comprehensive plan aimed at achieving alignment with Europe in all dimensions for Greece. The plan's foundation is the trio of 'integrated management, fair production, and productive restructuring', and it criticizes the growing inequalities, corruption, and deviation from Europe during the seven-year rule of New Democracy.

Tsipras, based on Eurostat and European Commission data, pointed out that Greece's per capita GDP strength is only 68% of the EU average, that 27,5% face the risk of poverty or social exclusion (EU average %20), and that 36% of disposable income is spent on housing expenses (EU average %19). These data show that, together with transparency, accountability, and fiscal discipline in governance, a change in the basic structure is needed.

The goal is to achieve a realistic European alignment in areas such as income, productivity, wages, rule of law, health, education, housing, and sustainability, and to raise the quality of life. This aim will be pursued through three axes: a new production base, investments, technology, and opening outward; a fair tax system, opportunities for the next generation, and permanent income redistribution; and functional public services with low cost of living. The plan also includes establishing an investment machine by treating water and energy as basic infrastructure, strengthening decentralization to empower the periphery, supporting young and small enterprises, and ensuring tax justice.
