Car plunges into water channel in Bilecik: 1 seriously injured

A traffic accident occurred in the Söğüt district of Bilecik, where a car lost control and fell into a water channel. The driver was seriously injured, while a passenger sustained minor injuries. According to information obtained, the car with license plate 34 EZ 3428, driven by Yekta A., was traveling from Bilecik towards Söğüt when the driver lost control and the vehicle plunged into a water channel on the right side of the road. Upon notification, gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.

Medical teams provided first aid to the injured at the scene. The seriously injured driver, Yekta A., was taken to Bilecik Training and Research Hospital after initial emergency intervention. The passenger, Alihan B., escaped with minor injuries and received outpatient treatment. The gendarmerie has launched an investigation into the accident.
