Dr. Darakhshaan Andrabi Leads Green Area Expansion Campaign in Cemmu

Chairperson of the Cemmu and Keşmir Vakıflar Kurulu Dr. Syed Darakhshaan Andrabi led a tree plantation drive in the Eidgah region of Cemmu, aimed at ensuring a cleaner and greener future for the region. This event was not organized as a one-day effort but as part of a comprehensive initiative being undertaken to spread environmental awareness among all sections of society. Dr. Andrabi gave concrete shape to the idea of nature conservation by planting shady and fruit-bearing saplings on the ground.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Andrabi emphasized that tree plantation is not just an activity but the most valuable investment for the future generations. She opined that environmental protection is one of the most important duties people should adopt today, and every individual has a share in this responsibility. As the Vakıflar Kurulu, she stated that they are continuously working to increase the green cover on all properties and shrines across Cemmu and Keşmir.

In her speech, Dr. Andrabi particularly called upon the youth, arguing that they should not be content with merely keeping environmental awareness in their minds but must translate this awareness into collective action. Stating that meaningful change can only be achieved through active public participation, the Chairperson called for mobilizing the energy of the youth for nature conservation activities. The role of the young population in such social responsibility projects is of critical importance for a sustainable environment.

Reiterating their determination to make the Vakıflar Kurulu's camps across the region greener and cleaner, Dr. Andrabi expressed that they are making intense efforts to improve environmental quality in all areas owned by the institution. She conveyed that these efforts are of great importance not only for aesthetics but also for maintaining ecological balance and combating pollution. She explained that as an institution, they aim for these decisions to contribute directly to the general welfare of the society.

Finally, in her speech, stating that every Cemmu and Keşmir resident has a key role in preserving the region's natural heritage, Dr. Andrabi invited citizens to be more sensitive towards the environment. She said that all segments of society need to act in cooperation to rid the region of pollution and leave a more livable habitat for future generations. She emphasized that such sapling plantation campaigns are concrete steps taken towards environmental sustainability and that they must continue.
