Operation against FETÖ's current structure: 78 suspects detained in 13 provinces

A simultaneous operation was conducted against the current structure of FETÖ/PDY in 13 provinces, centered in İstanbul. A total of 78 suspects were detained in the operation carried out by security forces. Within the scope of the operation, a large-scale investigation was launched into the suspects' connections.

It was reported that a large amount of money and gold, along with numerous digital materials, were seized during the searches. It was stated that the seized digital materials were handed over to the relevant units for detailed examination within the scope of the investigation.

The operation was coordinated by the Counter-Terrorism and Anti-Smuggling Crime Branch Directorates of the İstanbul Police Department. It was learned that the suspects will be referred to the courthouse after their procedures at the police department are completed.
