'Very High' Forest Fire Alarm for Six Departments in the South of France

The French National Meteorological Service (Météo France) announced in a statement on Monday, 29 June, that caution must be exercised against the risk of forest fires in the south of the country. According to the said warning, as of 1 July, six different departments have been included in the "very high" fire risk category. These six departments include Pyrénées-Orientales, Aude, Hérault, Gard, Bouches-du-Rhône, and Vaucluse.
