Gina Rinehart-backed Arafura Rare Earths signs sales deal with Indian metals producer

Perth-based Arafura Rare Earths has signed a sales agreement with an India-based metals producer for its Nolans project, marking the first deal backed by the Australian Federal Government's Critical Minerals Strategic Reserve. The company aims to produce rare earth elements from the Nolans project, and this agreement is seen as a significant step toward its commercial viability.

Under the deal, Arafura will supply rare earth oxides from the Nolans project to the Indian metals producer. Gina Rinehart's company, Hancock Prospecting, has made substantial investments in Arafura, supporting the project.
