Gülistan Doku investigation expands: Number of detainees reaches 17, call from grieving mother

The comprehensive investigation conducted by the Tunceli Chief Public Prosecutor's Office in the case of Gülistan Doku, a university student who has been missing for years, has gained momentum. While the number of suspects detained in recent operations has risen to 17, it is stated that the process could expand even further with the re-evaluation of evidence and the addition of new statements.

Grieving mother Bedriye Doku addressed Handan Sonel, the wife of former Tunceli Governor Tuncay Sonel, in front of the courthouse, demanding her daughter's bones. Calling on her to tell the prosecutor whatever she saw as a mother, Bedriye Doku expressed her pain with the words, "I want a grave, I want my daughter's bone."

The eldest sibling of the family, Aygül Doku, invited those who have remained silent until now to share what they know, stating that they will follow the case to the end. Additionally, she announced that they have initiated legal proceedings against the baseless claims made about her sister on social media.
