Drinking water line renewed in Hacıilyas Village

Yozgat Special Provincial Administration has launched a comprehensive renovation project to strengthen the drinking water infrastructure in Hacıilyas Village, located in the Aydıncık district. The project includes the installation of a collector system and the complete renewal of the existing drinking water network. The aim is to provide the villagers with healthier and uninterrupted access to water. Additionally, replacing old pipes is expected to prevent water leaks. This initiative is part of the administration's broader rural infrastructure investments.

Nazif Yılmaz, Secretary General of Yozgat Special Provincial Administration, emphasized the importance of renewing the water network for both public health and water conservation. He stated that the work is being carried out meticulously and will be completed as soon as possible. Yılmaz noted that such investments improve the quality of life in rural areas. He thanked all the teams involved and highlighted the significance of delivering services to villages.

Hacıilyas Village is a small settlement in the Aydıncık district of Yozgat, with a population engaged mainly in agriculture and livestock. The existing water infrastructure had deteriorated over time, leading to water shortages, especially during summer. The new project aims to permanently solve this problem. The collector system will also enable more efficient use of water resources.

Yozgat Special Provincial Administration is known for prioritizing rural infrastructure projects. Having carried out similar works in many villages before, the administration is now undertaking a comprehensive renewal in Hacıilyas. The project covers not only water lines but also water tanks and connection points. Upon completion, water quality is expected to improve and water losses to decrease.

In his speech, Nazif Yılmaz thanked the President, the Governor, and members of parliament for their support in bringing these services to the district. He also expressed gratitude to the village headman and residents for their patience and understanding. Yılmaz added that the administration will continue to meet the needs of villages and implement similar projects in other villages.
