Hamas delegation in Cairo for ceasefire talks

Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem announced that a Hamas delegation has traveled to Cairo, Egypt, to discuss approaches for implementing the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip. Qassem stated that Hamas and Palestinian groups have presented acceptable and logical proposals for the implementation of the agreement, which were welcomed by mediators. He emphasized that the visit aims to put these proposals into practice and that the ball is now in the mediators' court to pressure Israel to comply with the agreed terms.

Qassem noted that Hamas and Palestinian groups have taken responsible positions regarding the implementation of the agreed points, and mediators are making efforts in this regard. Meanwhile, Cairo's Al-Qahera News TV channel reported that the Hamas delegation arrived in the Egyptian capital to resume negotiations on the roadmap for implementing the second phase of the ceasefire plan. The channel added that Hamas leaders fully support US President Donald Trump's peace plan and are ready to remove all obstacles in its way.

The talks are taking place in a positive atmosphere, with great optimism about the completion of Trump's peace plan. This development is seen as a critical step towards making the Gaza ceasefire permanent and ensuring stability in the region.
