Iran: Countries using US bases are complicit in aggressive actions

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ismail Bekayi responded to claims that European US bases could be targeted in the event of a new attack on Iran, stating that targeting the source of attacks on Iran is Tehran's "legal right". Iran emphasized that countries providing bases and facilities for use in US and Israeli attacks should take necessary steps, saying "There is no reason for any country to be concerned about us. However, the situation is different for countries that make their bases, facilities, and equipment available for use in the unlawful actions of aggressive parties". Iranian spokesperson criticized US economic pressure, calling it "open economic terrorism" aimed at punishing the Iranian people.
