Iran's Chief Prosecutor Spoke at the Martyr Leader Hamaney Commemoration Ceremony

Muhammed Cafer Münteziri, Head of the Iran Court of Cassation, made important statements at a commemoration ceremony organized for the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Ali Hamaney, and his family members. In his speech, Münteziri emphasized that since the first day of the revolution, he has always felt divine help and the support of believers behind him. He stated that this divine support played a very decisive role in the struggle between truth and falsehood and in the victories achieved against enemies. He added that the support of the people is the guarantee of the revolution and that this unity frustrates the goals of the enemies. The commemoration ceremony stood out as part of the official programs regularly held at the Palace of Justice.

The commemoration event in question was organized by the Directorate of Public Relations and Cultural Affairs of the Court of Cassation and the Chief Prosecutor's Office, along with the Imam Ali (a.s.) Mobilization Base. The ceremony was held at the Justice Palace on Sunday, which corresponds to the 21st day of the 4th month of the year 1405 in the calendar. This event, organized to commemorate the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution and his family members, took place with the intense participation of official authorities and guests. Those attending the program remembered the late leader's struggles for Islam and the revolution with respect. Authorities believe that such commemoration events are of great importance in terms of transferring the ideals of the revolution to new generations. It was observed that the organization was planned in detail and supported by high-level state institutions.

Continuing his speech, Münteziri stated that not only Iran but the entire Islamic world has been in great mourning for more than the last four months. He described this mourning as the deep sorrow of losing such an important leader who devoted his entire life to Islam and the revolution. He emphasized that the messages of condolence and the intense interest shown from different countries of the Islamic geography revealed how influential and beloved the lost leader was, not only within the borders of Iran but also throughout the region. He added that the leader's legacy did not only create a political void but also led to the severing of a spiritual bond. The official stated that this deep sorrow also shows that Islamic societies share a common destiny.

The Head of the Court of Cassation also stated that the Husseini school (the path of Hussein) teaches that one must stand firm against oppression and that one should not be afraid to pay the price for this cause. He reminded that throughout the honorable and bright history of Shia, great prices were paid to keep this belief alive and to hold the banner of imamate and guardianship high. He stated that from the first days after the Prophet's death (rihlet) until today, there has been a constant struggle between truth and falsehood, and this conflict will continue until the Day of Judgment. He said that this historical perspective inspires believers in overcoming today's difficulties. The speaker emphasized that not submitting to oppressors is a fundamental requirement of their faith.
