Terrible accident after hospital visit in Kastamonu's Küre district: 3 injured

A concerning accident occurred in terms of traffic safety in the Zecce locality of Kayadibi Village, affiliated with the Küre district of Kastamonu, creating a brief atmosphere of panic in the region. The automobile with license plate 37 ACA 615, driven by S.M., went out of control in an uncontrolled manner as a result of the driver losing steering control. The exiting vehicle was able to stop by hurtling towards the agricultural area located on the side of the road, and the intensity of the accident caused the passengers in the vehicle to be injured.

Upon the reports made by citizens who saw the accident, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the region, and the necessary interventions were carried out by reaching the scene in a short time. After the first aid was administered to the injured at the place where the accident occurred, they were transferred to the nearest health institution, Küre State Hospital, by ambulances for the purpose of stabilizing their conditions. Following the initial treatment and examinations at the hospital, it was decided to refer the injured to Kastamonu Training and Research Hospital for further examinations and treatments as a result of the evaluation of the general health conditions of the injured. In the statement made by the authorities, it was shared that the health condition of the injured is currently under control and there is no life-threatening danger.

As a result of the detailed investigations made regarding the incident and the statements taken, it emerged that the people involved in the accident had appointments at hospitals in Kastamonu center and were on their way back after their treatments. While this detail offers a clue as to under what conditions the accident occurred, the issue of whether the driver's carelessness or road conditions played a role in the accident became part of the investigation. Authorities stated that the investigation continues for the determination of the exact cause of the incident and the determination of a possible fault situation, and that the reports will be examined.

On the other hand, it was emphasized that the awareness regarding road safety and compliance with traffic rules in the region needs to be increased. In order to prevent similar accidents from happening again, drivers were called upon to be extra careful and obey speed limits, especially during periods when there may be fatigue, such as after hospital visits, or when road conditions are not suitable.
