Suspect Who Shot His Wife During Divorce Phase in Kilis Detained

In the incident that took place in a tea garden in Kilis, an argument between a couple in the process of divorce ended in blood. The suspect named Hikmet E. severely injured his wife by firing at her repeatedly with a gun he was carrying.

Upon the reports of nearby citizens who heard gunshots, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Hülya E., who was severely injured, was taken to Prof. Dr. Alaeddin Yavaşca Devlet Hastanesi for treatment after receiving initial medical intervention at the scene.

Following the incident, the suspect Hikmet E., who could not flee the scene, was detained by police teams and taken to the police station. The gun used was confiscated, while police teams launched a large-scale investigation to shed light on all aspects of the incident.
