Mihkelson: Putin Fell Into the Trap of the War He Started

Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Estonian Parliament (Riigikogu) Marko Mihkelson stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin has fallen into the trap of the war he started. According to Mihkelson's assessments, the successful military operations conducted by Ukraine in recent months, especially the deep-strike attacks targeting Russia's oil facilities and logistical infrastructure, have brought the Kremlin administration to the brink of a very serious crisis. These long-range strikes have the potential to seriously weaken the Russian army's capacity to wage war and its supply lines. Mihkelson emphasizes that this invasion initiated by Putin has turned into a massive strategic mistake beyond the quick victory dream initially planned for Russia.
