Out-of-control car crashes into EDS pole in Muş: 3 injured, 1 critical

A traffic accident occurred in Muş late at night when a car went out of control, hitting parked vehicles and then crashing into an Electronic Monitoring System (EDS) pole. Three people were injured, and one of them is reported to be in critical condition. The incident took place on İstasyon Street, and upon notification, emergency services including health, police, and fire crews were dispatched to the scene.

The accident happened after the driver lost control of the steering wheel. The car first struck parked vehicles on the roadside, then mounted the median and hit the EDS pole. The impact caused extensive material damage to the vehicles, with some becoming unusable. Medical teams provided first aid to the injured and transported them to Muş State Hospital via ambulances.

At the hospital, one of the injured is in serious condition with life-threatening injuries, while the other two are reported to be in stable condition. Police officers secured the area and managed traffic flow. After the damaged vehicles were towed away, traffic returned to normal.

An investigation has been launched by the police to determine the exact cause of the accident. Authorities stated that efforts are ongoing to identify factors that led to the driver losing control. Security camera footage from the scene is being examined as part of the investigation.
