Nacar: Politics cannot be built on an immoral foundation

Party leader Cuma Nacar made important assessments regarding Turkey's and the world's agenda during a meeting. He pointed out that the 24-year rule has dragged the country into economic and political crises. Nacar stated that these problems can be solved with correct policies, but the real danger is moral corruption. He emphasized that this corruption, occurring under the rule of a government that defines itself as Islamist, threatens the nation's fundamental values.

Nacar reminded that the Turkish nation has experienced heavy defeats and interregnums throughout history, but managed to rise again because its life springs never dried up. He said that during these periods, the core values that kept the nation standing remained intact. However, he noted that today a dangerous process is underway where these life springs are being dried up and the hope of revival is weakened.

Stressing that moral and virtuous politics must be implemented first for recovery, Nacar stated that neither the government nor the opposition can demonstrate the necessary will. Therefore, the duty falls on the nation; the solution is virtuous and moral politics, and its address is the Nation Party.

He quoted their wise leader Aykut Edibali, saying that politics should be conducted with the purity of worship, the sincerity of worship, and as a sibling of worship. Otherwise, politics should not be done. Nacar concluded by saying, 'Yes to divine politics, no to satanic politics!'

The meeting also discussed the party's future goals and election strategies. Nacar stated that when they come to power with the nation's support, they will establish a moral governance approach. His speech was followed with great interest by the participants.
