Sudden braking accident in Nazilli: Vehicle rolled into a ditch

In a traffic accident that occurred in the Nazilli district of Aydın, a light commercial vehicle went out of control after the driver made a sudden brake. The accident took place at the İsabeyli intersection on the busy Aydın-Denizli state highway. Driver P.S., traveling from the Aydın direction towards Nazilli, slammed on the brakes hard as the lights turned red upon reaching the intersection. This sudden maneuver disrupted the vehicle's balance, initiating a chain-reaction crash process.

The driver completely lost steering control during braking and could not regain control of the vehicle. The light commercial vehicle was thrown towards the edge of the road, first crashing hard into the sidewalk. Propelled into the air by the impact of hitting the sidewalk, the vehicle then rolled into the ditch on the roadside and somersaulted there. The severity of the accident caused extensive material damage to the vehicle and also brought concerns of a possible loss of life.

Citizens in the vicinity who noticed the situation at the time of the accident rushed to the scene without losing a moment. These civilians mobilized to rescue the panicked driver from the vehicle, intervening with their own means and managing to extract P.S. from the piles of metal. Initial examinations determined that the driver miraculously escaped this horrific accident without any injuries, safely surviving. The light commercial vehicle, which was upside down in the ditch, was removed from its location with the help of a tow truck called in after the fire brigade took safety precautions.
