Netanyahu Condemns Settler Violence in West Bank as 'Criminal Acts'

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Saturday condemned the violent actions of Israeli settlers in two Palestinian villages in the West Bank, describing them as "criminal acts of violence." This statement came following incidents in early August where settlers prevented aid from entering Palestinian family homes around the village of Qusra and attacked a Palestinian family and a foreign media crew in the nearby village of Jalud.

Netanyahu's condemnation came amid growing concerns over the rise in settler violence. The international community and human rights organizations argue that Israeli security forces have been inadequate in preventing such attacks by settlers and have even shown tolerance towards them in some cases.
