Bad News for PlayStation Users: Purchased Films to Disappear in September

Sony has officially announced that 551 films and TV series licensed from Studio Canal will be permanently removed from PlayStation Network users' libraries as of September 1, 2026. This decision reignites the debate over digital ownership, as users who paid for these titles will lose access without any compensation. The affected content includes iconic films such as Terminator 2, Rambo, Paddington, and Apocalypse Now. Sony has previously taken similar actions but reversed course after public backlash.
