Road renovation works in Sakarya's Geyve district have facilitated transportation

As part of the infrastructure works carried out by Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality, the renovation process of the road connecting Alıplar Mahallesi to the district center of Geyve has been successfully completed. The completion of the works on this critical route of approximately nine kilometers and its presentation to the service of the citizens were welcomed with great satisfaction by the local people. The road, which previously posed a serious risk for drivers and made transportation quite difficult due to its deteriorated surface structure, was asphalted in accordance with modern standards. Thus, road safety in the dangerous sections was maximized, while the daily quality of life of the local residents was also significantly improved. Under the old road conditions, citizens had to travel for approximately twenty minutes to reach the district center of Geyve from Alıplar Mahallesi. However, thanks to the comprehensive asphalt and improvement works, this time decreased exactly fourfold, dropping to just five minutes. Stating that the travel time has been shortened with the road becoming comfortable, the neighborhood residents describe this situation as the realization of a dream. The fact that driving has now turned into a pleasant and safe experience stands out as one of the most important details that brought smiles to the faces of the local people.

Following this positive development, the Muhtar of Alıplar Mahallesi expressed the joy of the local people and shared the situation with members of the press. The Muhtar revealed the ordeal they experienced, stating that in the past, it was even impossible to get out of the road, which was covered in mud and dust. Emphasizing that today they can reach the district center comfortably and without problems within minutes, he expressed their satisfaction with this investment. Sharing the same feelings as their Muhtar, the neighborhood residents offered their gratitude for the interest and attention shown by the Metropolitan Municipality to their neighborhood. It was once again understood how critical such local services are for the development and integration of rural neighborhoods into the center.

As a result, this nine-kilometer road project, implemented by Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality in Geyve district, has provided significant momentum to regional development.
