Serie D teams interested in Sambenedettese captain Eusepi

The future of Italian football club Sambenedettese's captain Umberto Eusepi will become clear upon his return from vacation. The club management has already communicated to Eusepi that he must leave the Riviera delle Palme area, leading to various transfer scenarios for the player. Historic clubs currently competing in Serie D, such as Piacenza and Pistoiese, are pursuing Eusepi. He would aim for the championship at these clubs by reuniting with his former teammate Mattia Gennari. However, Eusepi's main desire is not to stray too far from San Benedetto del Tronto, where he plans to settle when his career ends. For this reason, Santegidiese, a club newly promoted to the league, stands as a logical alternative. However, according to claims from the Abruzzo region, Teramo is also very keen to sign Eusepi.

Even though Teramo missed the chance to promotion to professional leagues, they are definitely focused on this goal for the next season and want to add Eusepi to their squad. The Tivoli-born striker seems unlikely to struggle to choose given the various offers in hand. Another name leaving the team is goalkeeper Edoardo Zagaglia. Zagaglia played for Recanatese last season and will now be loaned to Atletico Ascoli. This young goalkeeper, born in 2007, played a total of 23 matches in Serie D and the Italian Cup wearing the Atletico Ascoli jersey, conceding 38 goals. The young shot-stopper managed to keep a clean sheet in three of these matches. He was awarded the league's best save award twice for his performance.

While Zagaglia's loan departure is being arranged, a similar separation process is taking place for another goalkeeper, Matteo Grillo. The 18-year-old Grillo, nephew of former Sambenedettese player Maurizio Simonato, will transfer to Macerata on a 'dry loan' contract this season. Grillo, who guarded Teramo's goal in the second half of last season, played in six matches and conceded seven goals. He kept a clean sheet in one of these matches. Club sporting director Mussi is also trying to find a solution for Tommaso Orsini's situation. Although this young talent, born in 2006, attracts interest from Serie B teams, the most serious team currently pursuing him is Ancona. The presence of Titas Krapikas and Giovanni Cultraro in the current squad caused Orsini to be left out of the Sambenedettese project. However, club officials speak highly of the young goalkeeper's performance in the last two seasons.
