Horrible Chain-Reaction Crash at Şanlıurfa Akabe Exit: 5 Injured

In a traffic accident that occurred in the morning hours in Şanlıurfa, a total of 4 vehicles collided. It was reported that 5 people were injured in the chain-reaction crash. The accident took place at the Akabe exit on the Şanlıurfa Gaziantep highway. Traffic police teams arriving at the scene ensured safety by managing traffic in a controlled manner. The vehicles damaged in the accident were removed from the scene with the help of tow trucks.

According to the information obtained, the accident was caused by a driver, whose name has not yet been identified, losing control of the steering wheel. The driver, who lost control at the last curve of the Akabe exit, crashed into multiple vehicles driving ahead. Following the violent collision, a total of 4 vehicles, including one light commercial vehicle, collided with each other. A chain-reaction accident occurred as a result of these vehicles crashing into one another. It is believed that a major disaster was prevented thanks to other drivers in the vicinity noticing the situation and slowing down.

Immediately after the accident, a large number of traffic police and emergency teams were dispatched to the area. The 5 injured individuals were taken to hospitals after receiving initial treatment at the scene. Police teams quickly took measures to ensure a controlled flow of traffic on the road closed due to the accident.
