Major Step for Şebinkarahisar OIZ: Infrastructure Tender in July

The Şebinkarahisar Organized Industrial Zone (OIZ) project has reached a significant milestone. Hasan Çakırmelikoğlu, President of the Giresun Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GTSO), announced that the infrastructure tender for the project is planned for July. This development is seen as a major step to activate the region's industrial potential. Within the scope of the project, 71 industrial plots and 5 service areas have been established on a vast 750-decare area. Çakırmelikoğlu stated that the parceling processes are complete and the title deeds are about to be issued. This is a crucial development that will increase investor interest in the region.

Emphasizing that the infrastructure projects are completed, Çakırmelikoğlu said these projects will be submitted to the Ministry of Industry and Technology next week. This submission is a critical step for the OIZ to officially become operational. After the ministry's approval, infrastructure work is expected to accelerate. The total investment cost of the project is estimated to be around 450-500 million Turkish lira. This substantial investment has the potential to make significant contributions to the regional economy.

The 71 industrial plots are planned to be allocated to investors quickly. These plots offer suitable areas for companies from various sectors to establish production facilities. Conducting the allocation process transparently and swiftly is crucial to gaining investor confidence. Additionally, the 5 service areas will meet social and administrative needs within the OIZ.
